Aspiring Communication and Creative Specialist

I’m Stephanie, a recent graduate of DePaul University with a degree in public relations and advertising with a minor in marketing. I am passionate about the power of engagement through storytelling and interpersonal communication.

Before DePaul, I attended Harper Community College where I was a member of the Harper Hawks Speech Team, worked in the Office of Admissions, lead campus tours and tabled at open house events. Once I received my Associates in Arts, I was more than ready to take on a new environment, new experiences, and continue in higher education at DePaul University.

My first year at DePaul was an absolute blast as I auditioned for DePaul’s Improv and Sketch Comedy group and performed throughout the city. I also earned a spot on DePaul's Public Relation Student Society of America’s executive board as VP of Hospitality and Professional Development! This position granted me the opportunity to surround myself with aspiring PR pros as we traveled together to San Diego to speak at the National PRSSA Conference.

As a 2020 graduate, I have learned that thinking on your feet and adjusting to your environment are skills necessary beyond the world of improvisation, and I have been using those skills to find the next opportunity as I adjust to this post-graduate world.
